A bit vintage

This last Christmas Scottie Dog card has a rustic/vintage feel I think. The papers are sort of muted colours and I have distressed all the edges and then added some silver stickles..

I stamped the Scottie dog onto a white piece of card, then made a mask by stamping it again onto a post it note  fussy cutting it out,  layed it over the main image and then stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment over the top to make a background. All you do then is peel off the mask. The Scottie dog was then coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and I paper pieced his coat.

Finished by hand cutting two holly leaves from one of the matching papers, a few candy dots and a double red bow.

Well guys what do you think of this fab set of stamps ,  are they super cute and great fun to play with ??

Well its a big yes from me !!

More cool Scotties !!

How about making a cracker shaped card using these cute little guys ??

I just cut a couple of  v shapes out of a long card and then tied some ribbon round !! Lot's of layers and distressed edges and then stamped, coloured and paper pieced the scotties coats.

Or what about a milk carton gift box ??

Now this will take a bit of time to stamp the Scottie border three times all round the box and then colour as well as the Happy Christmas sentiment,  but it's worth it !!
I made the milk carton from white card to my own measurements and then punched two holes in the top for the ribbon.  Made a tag using one of the small Scottie dogs and stamped the sentiment adding a small snowflake charm before adding the ribbon

Now if you haven't fallen in love with this months Little Claire Stamp Club set by now,  then I'll have one more go tomorrow with my last make....

They are super cute guys !!

Here's the other two

new Little Claire christmas silhouette's  "So Exciting"

On this card I have used two of the "Falling Snow" papers in the two different sizes and glittered all the snowflakes with stickles!!  If you don't know by now...I hate loose glitter !!

With the "Cats On Roof"  I made my own backing paper using distress inks, made a mask for the moon so I could keep it white, then stamped the silhouette and added some frantage for the snow. Also distressed and glittered all the edges with stickles.

And here's my card from yesterday using "Snowman Tree"

You really can have fun with silhouettes !!

Well guys I hope this has cooled you down a bit..phew another hot day ahead !!

 Bah Humbug !!

New !!

Sorry to moan guys, but I don't do and out of an oven ( car ) all day. hot hairdryers and ladies feeling ill because of the heat is no fun for me !! But I do love it when I'm home....

Anyhoo hope all you guys are enjoying some of the sun too...

Now Little Claire have some new christmas silhouette stamps out so please pop over and check them all out HERE  !!

Here's one called " Snowman Tree " and I've stamped him onto one of the new  Dinkies Falling Snow papers in pale blue.

The rest of the papers came from my stash.  I love the blue and purples together and have inked all the edges with purple. Die cut the big snowflake and added stickles to make it sparkle, a ribbon bow with a big gem and a line of gems to add more sparkle !!

Lavender 'n' Lace

Lavender is my fav colour,  guess its my age and love it with green  !!

Did some water colouring on these cute little guys and mixed in with Spectrum Noir pens. Made the flowers with a punch and then shaped them, the centre is a fringe die. Also used a die to cut the leaves.

Embossed some patten paper and card with an embossing folder and topped it all of with a lacey bow !!

12 Tags 2015 June

This was fun to do as the main thing was to make your own ink pad and plaid background. had to be a bit inventive as I had to wrap elastic bands round a Mod Podge pot to create my plaid effect, very inky fingers !! Don't drink coffee so my tag was all about TEA !! Roughly hand drew a mug, the morning token was given to me by a friend which was just right for the tag.

Here's Tim's inspiration for us this month...
