I love learning !! So decided to sign up for the "Summer Card Camp 2011" which is by Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner. I`m sure to pick up loads of new and exciting ideas along the way. This week is a colour combo and for my first card I have used " Three Turtles" by Hero Arts and yes yet again some paper pleating !!
Morning girls...nice to have it a bit fresher today !!
One card this week for both the Woodware Challenges. Woodware UK is "Birthday Wishes and Woodware USA is "Patriotic Theme and /or Colours" Love this little train set by Woodware, as it can be Birthday or for Christmas. You can`t really see, but I have glossed the whole train set.

Here`s my card for Little Claires Challenge 10: Pink and Brown. The stamp is one of Little Claires called " Rainy Days". Now I think I have got better with my clouds, what do you think ?? I`m also into paper pleating as it gives a nice effect and is so simple to do. The little girl and all the wellies are paper piece which I also love doing. The paper is from Docrafts "Woodland Folk" pack.
Love "Little Claires" stamps so thought I would enter a challenge. I`ve had two of the Scottie dog stamps for a while and thought this one would make a nice man`s card. The paper is Basic Greys "Max and Whiskers" which I also love !! Coloured in with promarkers and glossed the bone, nose and eyes.
Check out the challenge HERE and all the fab DT`s cards !!
This weeks Woodware USA Challenge is a sketch by Kerry.
The stamps set I have used this time is Woodwares "Peeking Over" by Francoise Read. I had a go at clouds for the background for the animals with my new Ink Dusters. Not bad for a first attempt, can only get better me thinks !!

Most of you who know me, know that I like to make something with the bits I have leftover from a class I have done, which is a small challenge for myself. So today was card club and we made two lovely cards which I will show you tomorrow when I have better lighting, but I wanted to show you what you can do with the leftover bits........I think this is a sweet little card.
My card this week fits both Woodware USA Challenge: Happy Birthday and the Woodware UK Challenge: Bunch of Flowers. I`ve made a twisted easel card using the Woodware stamp set called "Ted Remembers" by Francoise Read. Ted is holding only one flower on the stamp, so I masked and stamped the flower two more times so it looks as if she is holding a bunch, then decoupaged one more flower on top. Stamped just the flower several more times and cut them out to lay round ted and more to use as the stop at the bottom. Again coloured in with promarkers. Love the cute little ladybug !!

Here is my card for Pink Gems Challenge which you can find HERE The stamps from Janice at Pink Gem Designs are very cute and again you can do alot with them. I have stamped the cat image several times to decoupage the cat and flower pot. Then stamped just the butterfly on one flower and two on the greetings. The little charm was actually a brad, but I punched a hole in it to make it into a charm because it has a little cat face on it. The image has been coloured in with good old promarkers.
Yesterday at scrap club we did a childrens LO with punched holes, eyelets, buttons etc. My LO is of my nephews when they were small. The eldest boys has aspergers and I use to have them once a month for the whole weekend to give my sisiter-in-law and brother a small break.
This weeks challenge at Woodware USA is Masculine cards, well I think this one would do for the pirate captain in your life !! I`ve used the woodware set called "Pirate Mischief" by Francoise Read. Have a look at Francoise`s fab card as she is playing along this week as well !! HERE
Also check out all the DT`s cards for great inspiration.....

I used the Woodware set of stamps called " Garden Babies" by Francoise Read which I love, they are so cute !! I re-stamped the image and just cut out the flowers to decorate the two sides and it is then coloured in with promarkers and a bit of stickles glitter glue then added.
