Christmas Countdown !!

Morning guys..

my turn for the Little Claire friday project and I have a Christmas Countdown for you to make using  the Christmas Snowmen stamp set !!

You will need:
cardboard
green, white and black card
Dovecraft Back to Basic Christmas paper
Die cut letters and numbers
wooden peg
red ribbon
glitter(stickles)
3d foam tape

1: Cut a  piece of cardboard 5 1/2" x 8 1/4" and two pieces of your pattern paper one 3" x 5" and 5 1/4" x 5" and then glue to front.

2: Cut a 4 1/4" scalloped circle in green card, a 3 1/2" plain circle of white card and another one 3"

3: Stamp your snowmen onto the 3" white circle, colour in and then mount onto the 3 1/2" circle, then mount onto the green scallop circle. Now add a black wiggly line to edge and some stickles.

4: Just lay your scallop circle onto the front of your covered board and glue your die cut letters around top. Don't worry if you haven't any die cut letters because you could stamp or hand write them instead. Now draw a wiggly black line all round edges.

5: Now attach green scallop circle to front using 3d foam tape.
6: Cut 12 pieces of green card  3 1/2" x 3" and 24 pieces of white card  2 3/4" x 2 3/4".

7: Glue a piece of white card to the front and back to each of the 12 of green card leaving a just over 1/2" at top. Now draw a black wiggle line round edge of white card.

8: Now add die cut numbers 1 - 12

8: Flip them over and add die cut number 13-24

9: Cover front of wooden peg with pattern paper and add a big red ribbon bow

10: All you have to do now is clip your countdown numbers to the front of your board and it is complete !!

Here's another one using the other snowman stamp in the set and using red card instead of green.

You don't have to make a Christmas countdown, why not a birthday countdown or holiday one ??    You're sure to find the right stamp for any occasion on the Little Claire website !!

Daisy

is a campervan and a fab Little Claire stamp which you can find HERE !!

I've always wanted a campervan to pootle about in.....I would have made a great hippy !!

Anyway back to Daisy....I've made a sun ray background with 40 strips of paper from the Minds Eye collection called Lost & Found and inked all the edges ( nearly lost the will to live doing this ), but I love the effect.

This has then been layered onto a piece of script paper from the same collection and then mounted onto a scallop card base..

Daisy has been stamped and then paper pieced, fussy cut out and mounted onto 3d foam tape, then stamped the "Just For You" border. inked , then distressed the edges.

Finished off with a shabby chic flower made with the paper and some lacey ribbon.

Oh for flower power days......not sure about the free love thing though

Christmas

My word peeps it was chilly last night and this morning and thoughts of christmas came to mind......but the sun has come out now and warmed things up a bit this afternoon !!

Anyhoo I have this sweet christmas card to share with you.

I've used a set of stamps designed by Lindsay Mason called "Winter Critters"

Very cute and very me !!
For my card I have just made an inky background with distress inks splattered with water, then stamped my fox and rabbits, coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and fussy cut out. Made a hill with a piece of torn white card then stamped the trees on top. Mounted the animals on 3d foam and attached on the hill, finished off with frantage for the snow and a stamped sentiment from a set by Sue Dix called "A Time For Family". I then mounted this piece onto a 6" x 6" card base.

Now were did I leave my knee blanket......

Take three...

cute snowmen and put them in a bauble with some snow and get this !!

A fab colourful christmas decoration which is so easy to make !!

The bauble comes with a centre circle divider and on both sides of this I have glued my cute stamped snowmen scene ( Little Claire Stamp Club set), then added some loose fine white flower soft for snow and finished of with some tartan ribbon.

For my card I have used from the Christmas Snowmen set just the snowflakes and one of the sentiment stamps.

The snowflakes have been stamped and then embossed with white embossing powder onto kraft card.  I then made a border strip from another piece of kraft card, some patterened paper from my stash, a bobble trim, gems and stamped one of the sentiments, finished of with a very big blue ribbon bow !!

Now who would like to WIN this  "Christmas Snowman" set of stamps and a fab kit to make a special project ??
